Autotrader’s nationwide campaign reaches car shoppers across every platform

The Autotrader Brand Media campaign will generate over 3.7 billion impressions in 2021 through a robust, multi-channel media plan. Over the year, Autotrader will be join sports fans on the front row with presence in NFL, NBA, MLB and Premier League games. Additionally, Autotrader officially kicked off the 2021 NASCAR Racing season in April, announcing its sponsorship agreement with Team Penske and increasing its number of NASCAR Cup races.

Outside of sports, Autotrader will also be seen across many Prime, Late Night and Cable properties and will reach viewers online through digital video partners like Hulu & YouTube. Autotrader will continue to have a presence across social media platforms – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and Pinterest. Lastly, listen for Autotrader on streaming audio partners Spotify, Pandora and Amazon!

We started the year strong compared to last year, with Q1 unique visitors increasing 23%, visits to increasing 22% and VDP volume and value increasing 21% and 18% respectively.

Creatively, Autotrader is elevating Dealer Home Services, with Dealer Chats, to reinforce the benefits of buying a car from the comfort and safety of home.

At Autotrader we never stop innovating ways to make the car shopping experience as easy as possible for consumers. Now shoppers can find the right car faster than ever with their smart speaker. We’ve partnered with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for the quickest most convenient way for consumers to find vehicles in their area.

Here are examples of how consumers can interact with Autotrader Voice Search:

  • Start Searching: Ask for a particular make & model or even price or body style.
  • Receive Suggested Models: Try asking, “What’s the top rated SUV of 2020?”
  • Price: Make a request like, “What does a 2018 Toyota Corolla cost?”
  • Vehicle Location: After receiving your search results, ask “Where?”
